Individual Tuition
While yoga classes are an effective way of learning and practicing, yoga remains an entirely personal
practice. We believe that there comes a time when students are best served in a one-on-one relationship
with a teacher.
Individual tuition sessions are generally 60 to 90 minutes long.
Some appropriate times to have individual tuition include:
• getting started with yoga, especially if classes seem overwhelming or intimidating
• when your practice seems to have reached a plateau
• when you have had an injury or are recovering from illness
• managing stress
• managing weight
Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy tailors yoga postures to the individuals needs and is suitable for a wide range of health conditions such as:
• asthma; and other respiratory problems
• addictions; alcohol, tobacco or drugs
• anxiety
• back, shoulder or neck pain
• cancer
• depression; including postnatal depression
• digestive problems; IBS, constipation
• heart disease
• ME, and other forms of severe fatigue
• pregnancy & postnatal
• women's health; menstrual problems, infertility, endometriosis |
